Long-Lasting Memories Start Here

Community projects

As part of our on-going affiliation with Portsmouth Football Club, we donated our annual ‘Player Appearance Event’ to three teams from a local football club - Pickwick Youth – based at Alexandra Park in the City. As you can see, the kids (and their families) loved meeting and training with some of their favourite Pompey players. It’s always great to give a little bit back to the local community.

Organised by our in-house Business Development Team, liaising with Pompey’s Marketing Department, we highlighted the desire to embed the Player Appearance initiative within the community. Despite a triple training session during the day, the Pompey players engaged with everyone who attended in such a constructive manner and posed for some great pictures, as well as tiring out the kids so the parents could have a quiet evening!

We have a long association with Portsmouth Football Club, with many employees having season tickets and a wide supporter base across our workforce for our local team. We take pride in our work within local community projects across the country with our Helping Hands Initiative created to ensure we do the most we can, not just in Portsmouth but local to all the projects we undertake across the UK.

We can’t thank Pompey enough for lending us Ronan Curtis, Kieron Freeman and Sean Raggett for the afternoon. Not only did they spend time helping the Pickwick Youth teams with some shooting drills, they even took the time to be part of the end-of-season presentations and signing many autographs. A great community feel to their visit and long may this partnership continue!
