Airport Division Thrusts New Excavator Into Action

Hughes and Salvidge are proud to announce the purchase of a brand new tracked excavator - to add to our admirable fleet in our Airport Division at Heathrow.
The ZX300 is one of the newest models from Hitachi’s Dash-6 Range and we have immediately got it working on our Europier project at the Airport.
The 30,600kg machine boasts three working modes to manage power and speed settings, allowing a flexible approach to a variety of projects, therefore maximising efficiency.
With a modern, fuel-efficient engine that also meets rigid emission standards, the new Hitachi allows us to reduce servicing and to enhance our output to the client, while also maintaining the highest safety standards.
