Hughes And Salvidge Contributes To The Elizabeth Foundation
Will Spong 13th October 2014
Continuing our 50th birthday celebrations and our donations to charitable causes, Hughes and Salvidge have donated £1000 to The Elizabeth Foundation located near to our Head Office in Portsmouth.
The Elizabeth Foundation is a national charity supporting infants and preschool children with hearing loss and their families. They provide education services, help, support and encouragement. They believe it is the right of every deaf child to be given the opportunity to learn, to listen, and talk.
Along with the services they provide for preschool deaf children from the South of England, they also work in partnership with Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust to provide new-born hearing screening and children's audiology testing services at their Hampshire family centre.
Their family centre in Hampshire is The Elizabeth Foundation's main administrative base and also houses their national Home Learning Programme which provides help for families of young deaf children across the country.
Hughes and Salvidge are proud to support such a worthwhile cause in the local area.
