At Hughes and Salvidge we recognise our statutory duty to comply with all Health and Safety legislation and continually strive to achieve the highest standards in all matters relating to the health, safety and welfare of our employees and anybody else who is affected by our activities.

Our health and safety performance is acknowledged as one of the best in the demolition industry - this is reflected in our outstanding health and safety record. 

Job Planning
Every project is individually planned to include a site specific Method Statement and Risk Assessments.

In the CDM role of Principal Contractor for the demolition phase, we prepare a Health & Safety Plan and employ the services of an external structural engineer, specialising in demolition, when necessary. This gives you the comfort of a comprehensive service.

Hughes & Salvidge’s have won numerous industry and client awards in recognition of our health and safety performance.  For example we have won the British Safety Council (BSC) International Award consecutively since 2002!
